Precious Thing...Halloween Family Tradition

My brother and I had one very serious tradition in our youth and that was...trick or treating together. Sadly, as we grew up this yearly event wasn't quite on our agenda. I always reflected fondly of those memories and didn't realize that it was just temporarily on hold.

In the last few years, the tradition has been reborn, only now it is my niece and nephew dragging their bags of candy into the night. Without fail, every October 31, we march like a tiny troupe and collect sweets while looking forward to walking up the driveway of the scariest house on the block. This year we joined my new family Phil, Kevin, Darlene and Jackson at the home of my mother-in-law Marianne. This is one night that I sincerely get excited about every year. I hope that one day, I might have my own little trick-or-treater to add to the party!

FLASHBACK!!! Here I am...in one of my faveorite costumes ever! Looks like my niece and I share the love for tu-tus : ) I wish I still had that headband!
